UCSF Fresno carries out its training and patient care charge through a network of affiliated partners. Our residents are exposed to a variety of practice styles including academic/hospital based practice, group practice and integrated healthcare delivery systems.

Fresno County is the center of health care between Los Angeles and Sacramento. The unique blend of the urban and rural communities we serve allows us to emphasize care of the whole patient in a multidisciplinary setting. Acute care hospitals, a level one trauma center, a regional burn center and numerous non-hospital programs serve a young and culturally heterogeneous population
