Application Requirements

Minimum required to start the application process includes:

  • Completed application
  • Official PA school transcripts
  • Three professional letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement
  • Curriculum vitae

Following submission of the above items, a Personal interview vs Remote telephone interview can be arranged. The remainder of the following items will be needed to complete the application process following graduation and your acceptance into our program:

  • Graduate of ARC-PA accredited PA program
  • Baccalaureate degree or higher
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • California state licensure
  • DEA licensure

Salary and Benefits
  • 12 month stipend: $64,480
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Employee Assistance Program. You will be eligible for an insurance benefit allowance, up to a maximum of $800 per month, to purchase medical, dental and or vision insurance as offered through CCFMG’s group insurance plans
  • Provider is eligible to participate and contribute to the 401k plan
  • Vacation, Sick & CME time: 4 weeks total of PTO
  • Membership in the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery (PAOS) Society
  • Access to the Physician Resource Center (lunch, computers)
  • Access to the UCSF Fresno Medical Education and Research Center (medical library, auditorium, conference rooms, clinical research center)
  • Malpractice coverage will be full occurrence coverage through UCSF
Calendar

A Rolling Admission process allows for year-round applications and various start dates throughout the year.  Our programs ability to have varying start dates will allow candidates to apply at any time through the year, and thereby allowing any qualified applicant a fair opportunity to enter into our program. Start dates will be customized and will vary depending on the applicant’s ability to begin the program as well as the credentialing process.

Interviews will be held through the year at a convenient time for eligible candidates. Shortly following the interview, applicants will be notified regarding their status.
