UCSF Fresno recently filled all available fellowship spots in the Match Day for the Medical Specialties Matching Program (MSMP). We are especially pleased that three of our current medical residents will continue their training at UCSF Fresno as fellows.
Current Internal Medicine Chief Resident Sanjay Hinduja, MD, matched with Hem/Onc. Nicole Jernick, MD, a Family and Community Medicine resident matched with Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Chirag Rajyaguru, DO, an Internal Medicine resident, matched with Cardiology.
UCSF Fresno received nearly 1,000 applications from across the U.S. for 14 fellowship positions available at this time.
UCSF Fresno programs that participated in the Match include: Cardiovascular Disease, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Infectious Disease, and Pulmonary and Critical Care.
Congratulations to all incoming fellows who start training at UCSF Fresno in July 2018. And thank you to the faculty and staff at UCSF Fresno who made this year’s MSMP Match a successful one.
