Dr. Aslam completed his undergraduate medical education at Rawalpindi Medical College in Pakistan. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, for his internship, residency, and chief residency in internal medicine. Upon completing his residency, he joined Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Texas A&M Health Science Center in Temple, Texas, as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine. He then completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Texas A&M Health Science Center. He furthered his training by completing additional fellowship training in interventional pulmonology at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts. He is ABIM board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.
When Dr. Aslam is not conducting research, teaching residents, or caring for patients, he enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. He is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
