Candice Yuvienco, MD
Division Director of Rheumatology
Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine, UCSF

Areas of interest include Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Scleroderma, Psoriatic Arthritis and other Spondyloarthropathies, Gout, Pseudogout, Osteoarthritis, Vasculitis, Inflammatory Myopathies, Connective Tissue Disease-related Interstitial Lung Diseases, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (diagnostic and ultrasound-guided joint procedures).

Aside from interest in the bread and butter of rheumatology, I am interested in bridging the gap within healthcare disparities, and in the recognition and action for diversity (particularly advocating for women in medicine). I am also in support of those in very early medical career planning, such as high school and college students who are trying to gain a sense of the preparation, commitment, struggles, and possibilities of entering the medical field.
