Hobbies and Interests:
Outside medicine, I greatly enjoy theology as a field of study and serving in my local church. Music is a big part of my life too - I’ve been playing bass guitar for almost fifteen years after first learning Latin rhythms - samba, cumbia, etc. If I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with family and friends, drinking coffee, or burying my head in a computer to run down an obscure pathophysiologic mechanism (I simply HAVE to know!).
Why Fresno?:
A born and raised Fresno native, the Central Valley represents more than simply a place to grow up - it is my community. It is where I had my first incredible chili dog at Chuck Wagon in Sanger and walked through Old Town Clovis’s Big Hat Days. It is where I first ventured into medicine as an EMT, learning to leverage my love of medicine to serve others throughout Fresno and Kings counties. Ultimately, Fresno is home, and I am thankful to fulfill my calling to medicine among my neighbors.
