UCSF Fresno provides everything I was looking for - diverse pathology, research and fellowship opportunities, supportive mentorship, and connections to underserved communities. On top of that, I greatly enjoyed my Sub-I experience here and saw the strong camaraderie between residents first-hand.

What are your career interests (fellowships, etc.)?
Gastroenterology, critical care, hospitalist - still keeping an open mind and figuring things out.

What are your research interests?
Public health, gastroenterology & hepatology, community-based/health services research. I am most interested in studying the interaction between medicine and the patient experience.
