Dr. Abdelkader is ABIM board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. She completed residency in Internal Medicine at WellSpan York Hospital, York, Pennsylvania. She completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington, D.C. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, as well as the American Thoracic Society. She is fluent in Arabic and French.
