FUNDRAISER BENEFITS UCSF FRESNO ALZHEIMER’S & MEMORY CENTER

FRESNO – The seventh annual Senior Living Network’s fashion show and luncheon, “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” will be held Thursday, Nov. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Casablanca Banquet & Social Hall (2317 Tuolumne Street) in Fresno.

Tickets are $25 per person or $250 for a table of 10. All proceeds from the event benefit the UCSF Fresno Alzheimer’s & Memory Center.

Established in 1989, the UCSF Fresno Alzheimer’s & Memory Center offers complete diagnostic services, treatment planning, counseling, caregiver support groups and educational opportunities for patients, families, and health care professionals. The Center also participates in valuable research that may help find treatments to halt the disease in the future. It is one of 10 state-funded Alzheimer’s research centers in California, and the only one of its kind in the San Joaquin Valley. The Center serves residents in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, Stanislaus, Tulare, San Luis Obispo, and Tuolumne counties.
