To be eligible for a charitable deduction in the current tax year, securities must be received in our brokerage account by December 31.

Advantages of Making a Pledge
A pledge demonstrates your intention to make a gift to the University and may allow you to give more generously over a period of time than would be possible through a single contribution. You can make a commitment to UCSF Fresno payable over a period of three to five years. Call (559) 499-6426 for assistance with the details of your pledge.
Honor and Memorial Giving
A memorial gift is a meaningful way to remember, honor, or celebrate someone important to you. Families may request memorial gifts, in lieu of flowers, to be directed to support the UCSF program, physician, or center of their choosing. An honorary gift is a powerful way to express your love and make a difference. Honorary gifts can be made in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or graduation, or just to thank a special friend. You also can honor your physician, nurse, or caregiver, or show your gratitude for the care you or someone you love received at UCSF.
When you make your gift, please include the name of the individual you are memorializing or honoring. We can also notify the family or individual of your gift if you provide us with their name and address. UCSF Fresno will not share the amount of the contribution.

Donor-Advised Funds
Like a savings account for charitable giving, donor-advised funds give you the freedom to make fund contributions whenever you like and recommend specific grants to UCSF only when you are ready.
