The UCSF Fresno Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship Program is a one-year non-ACGME fellowship training opportunity for physicians who have interest and qualifications to pursue highly specialized training in advanced cardiovascular imaging.
One well qualified physician will be admitted to the program each year. The fellow will work clinically as a UCSF junior faculty member based at UCSF Fresno and Community Regional Medical Center, one of California’s busiest emergency departments and the only Level 1 trauma center and burn unit between Sacramento and Los Angeles.
Our training program provides clinical research experience and cardiac imaging training in multiple modalities, including cardiac computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and nuclear medicine, with modifications to training based on the trainee’s specific goals and time commitment. In addition to gaining experience in cardiac imaging research, the junior faculty member will participate in clinical and educational activities involving the UCSF Fresno Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program.
