Why UCSF Fresno: As a visiting medical student, I quickly found UCSF Fresno to be a hidden gem among residency training programs. The faculty are excited to teach, encouraging, and advocate strongly for their patients; residents are kind and supportive; and the depth and breadth of pathology seen here is unmatched. Being the only Level 1 center between San Francisco and Los Angeles offers unique opportunities to serve the neediest of our communities. I chose this program because I know it will equip me with the skills and confidence to practice compassionate service to those entrusted to my care.
What are your career interests: I am interested in primary care/clinic medicine and/or hospital medicine, and ideally would find a hybrid job that gives me the best of both worlds!
