Why Fresno? Doing an externship at UCSF Fresno made it abundantly clear that I wanted to be here. It truly feels like a family and everyone looks out for each other. We are the sole head and neck service at the main hospital which keeps us busy but means we see everything. I have no doubt I will be comfortable with pursuing any aspect of oral surgery after graduation.
