Hobbies, facts and interests
I love anything that gives me a creative outlet. I enjoy making jewelry, DJing, calligraphy, and going to concerts. I also love road trips to the beach and have recently been learning to snowboard!
Fun Fact
I grew up on a cul-de-sac where nearly my entire family lived. My grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins were all just a few houses away. It was such a special way to grow up, and I hope to recreate something like it with my own family someday.
Why Fresno?
Fresno is more than an amazing home base with Yosemite, Sequoia, the beach, and San Francisco all within reach. It truly feels like home because of the people here. My connections with fellows, residents, and attendings began when I was a medical student and continued to grow throughout residency. Being able to stay here for fellowship feels incredibly special, and I still think back on the relationships and experiences that made me want to build my career here.
What are your other career interests (specialties/fellowships)?
I’m keeping an open mind as I explore the different areas of hematology and oncology. I’m especially interested in solid tumor oncology, and after having the opportunity to participate in breast cancer research, I’ve felt a natural pull toward breast oncology. I’m excited to see where fellowship takes me!
What are your research interests?
I’m most interested in research that has a meaningful and direct impact on patient care. I’m especially excited about becoming involved in clinical trials and hope to eventually develop and lead clinical trials as a principal investigator
