Hobbies, Fun Facts, and Interests:
When I’m not at the hospital, I love spending time in my garden, cooking, and baking. Watching Great British Bake off tricked me into believing that I can decorate cakes, and goodness knows I do try! I also enjoy painting, drawing, and reading cozy mystery novels. Though I spook very easily, I love all things paranormal and unwind with a good spooky podcast. Being in Fresno is particularly exciting from this standpoint as I’ve got my eye out for Fresno’s very own cryptid, the Fresno Nightcrawler!
Besides indulging in my hobbies, my happiest moments are spent with my family and friends, especially going on road trips and singing 80s Nu Wave songs with the windows down! I adopted my two cats, Chicky and Waffle Cones, in 2018, and they’ve been covering everything I own in cat hair ever since. They are also excellent nap companions and remind me of the importance of prioritizing rest and time spent with the people (and creatures) that I love.
Why Fresno?
As a Central Valley native, it was important to me to serve my community during my training and beyond. I’m grateful to be close to my family and friends, especially because I left the region for four years of medical school. Beyond that, I’m excited to be a part of a program that places a big emphasis on therapy, and to complete my training with so many talented and empathetic people.
