Barbara Price

Barbara Price joined the Department of Psychiatry in May 2015 as Department Administrator, where she is responsible for department operations, budgeting, university compliance, staff supervision, and general oversight and problem-solving.

Barbara is originally from Boston but has lived in Fresno since 1996. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, as well as a nursing degree. Before joining UCSF Fresno, she worked as a psychometrician, critical-care nurse, and book editor.

Outside of work, Barbara enjoys travel, reading, writing, family history, cooking, Scrabble, editing books, spending time with her family, and volunteering for Community Food Bank and Elder Paws Foundation.
