Why did you choose OBGYN?
Before medical school, I received my Masters of Public Health in sexual and reproductive health and have always had a strong interest in women's health and family planning. During my third year clinical rotations, I fell in love with OBGYN and the diversity of the specialty. I was instantly drawn to building long-term relationships with patients and advocating for women in their most vulnerable moments.

Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?
I grew up in Merced, California and am very excited to return to the Central Valley to serve my home and community! The diversity of the population, the fast-paced nature, and the variety in pathology makes UCSF Fresno an incredible training environment. What I loved the most about this program was the support and kindness I felt from all the OBGYN residents, faculty, and staff.

Hobbies/Facts/Interest
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and exploring National Parks. I also love traveling and experiencing new cultures. I've traveled to over 35 countries and counting!
