FRESNO - The University of California, San Francisco Fresno Latino Center for Medical Education and Research Selma High School Doctors Academy students will host a Health Fair at Selma High School on Thursday, March 10, 2011.
The health fair offers Doctors Academy students an opportunity to showcase their research findings on health issues and disparities impacting their community. In addition, local health organizations will provide information and answer questions about their healthcare services.

- UCSF Fresno Reach Out and Read Program
- Xcelerate Fitness Center
The Doctors Academy at Selma High School was developed and implemented in 2007. With funding provided by Kaiser Permanente Fresno and The California Wellness Foundation, 71 Selma High School students participate in the program aimed at encouraging students to pursue careers in health and medicine.
