Hobbies, fun facts and interests
My professional interests include health equity, critical care, physician wellness and medical education, specifically how to improve medical school curricula.

During my free time I enjoy visiting art museums, running, watching documentaries and standup comedy, dancing, Zumba and listening to podcasts while cleaning.

Why Fresno?
I knew that if I wanted to be the best Emergency Medicine physician I could be, I needed to be at a place that would provide a broad range of experiences. I became a physician to serve my community, so I wanted to train at a residency that served a large Latinx/Spanish speaking population. During interviews, Fresno was the only place that blew me away with its incredible training, collaborative environment and genuine care for resident wellness. And finally, this outstanding residency program has a longstanding tradition of commitment to high quality education, which perfectly aligned with my goals of being a physician-educator. I cannot wait to see the incredible physicians that my co-interns and I will become after this residency!
