Jesus Pimentel joined the UCSF Fresno Department of Pediatrics in October 2022 as a Residency Program Coordinator.
In his role, Jesus works closely with the Program Director and his co-coordinator, Ashley Perea, to support the day-to-day administration and coordination of the Pediatrics Residency Program. His primary areas of focus include accreditation, evaluation management, and the coordination of off-campus rotations, helping ensure residents have a well-organized educational experience while maintaining compliance with program and accreditation requirements.
Jesus also serves as a liaison between the residency program and the UCSF Fresno Graduate Medical Education office, other training programs, participating hospitals, and regulatory offices. He enjoys collaborating with residents, faculty, and program leadership and takes pride in supporting a positive, organized, and successful training environment.
