Join the Intentional Recruitment Coalition (IRC) in collaboration with the UCSF Fresno Department of Surgery, the largest surgical training program in the San Joaquin Valley for the 2025 Health Disparities Summit. This annual symposium is dedicated to enhancing and expanding access to health care for disadvantaged populations affected by language barriers, socioeconomic disparities, cultural differences, and more.

Through expert-led discussions and evidence-based strategies, this program will inform and equip health care providers to bridge gaps in care and navigate complex health disparities.

Participants are eligible to earn 3.5 hours of CME credit.

Kamell Eckroth-Bernard, MD, FACS
Associate Professor, Surgery, UCSF Fresno

Dr. Eckroth-Bernard is double board certified in general and vascular surgery. He has been in practice for ten years as a vascular surgeon and is an alum of the UCSF Fresno Surgery Residency Program. He is dedicated to his patients and believes that increasing underrepresented minority physicians will greatly improve patient care in the Central Valley.
