Why Fresno?
Fresno is home! I was born and raised in the Central Valley and as a medical student, I had the opportunity to rotate through multiple specialties at UCSF Fresno serving my community. I chose UCSF Fresno because I know that this program will equip me with the experience and tools to be confidently prepared for my future. As part of the largest hospital teaching system between Los Angeles to Sacramento, our clinical training is strong with exposure to the most unique pathology that I have only heard of through textbooks! And last but not least, our patients and the superheroes behind the masks— our residents, attendings, nurses and staff who truly make this program special— are the reasons that I continue to choose UCSF Fresno each day. Internal Medicine is a large family, and I have felt right at home since the start.
