Hobbies, fun facts and interests
I love visiting my family, including two nephews, in Sacramento, exploring the Sierras, and working on my garden. The fresh produce in the Central Valley has pushed me to expand my love for healthy cooking and to appreciate the easy access to a variety of vegetables. On weekends, I’ll often adventure to the Central Coast and enjoy the fantastic hiking, ocean views, and delectable foods. My partner is a UCSF Fresno resident in internal medicine, and we love finding new running trails and exploring the local terrain.

Why Fresno?
I chose Fresno because of the diverse patient population, opportunity to expand my psychotherapy/outpatient skills, and chance to stay close to family. The variety of work settings, including private practice, county, VA, community health centers, and electives made me excited to explore a variety of care settings. The small program provides support and prioritization as I can easily turn to faculty and attendings with concerns. Lastly, the direct contact with attendings on rotations allows me to quickly gain expert knowledge.
