Why did you choose OBGYN?
My interest in women’s health has been prevalent throughout my life, but I ultimately decided on OBGYN because of the opportunity to work with women of all ages and provide both medical and surgical services. This field keeps you on your toes and I wanted to work in a fast-paced environment. I strive to become more involved with patient advocacy and maternal-fetal health in the coming years.

Why do OBGYN at UCSF Fresno?
I wanted to be in a diverse city with patients from various socioeconomic backgrounds. I also love being a part of a smaller group of residents and working at high-volume hospital provides endless learning opportunities that will help me become a well-rounded physician. With family both here and in the Bay Area, I truly believe it is one of the best cities to settle down in.

Hobbies/Facts/Interest
I am originally from the Bay Area in California and went to undergrad at UC Berkeley so I’m happy to be back in the state! I have been a dancer as long as I can remember and hope to continue doing so throughout residency. My favorite hobby is enjoying a meal with friends and I have been fortunate to be surrounded by so many people who enjoy cooking. I am an avid Nintendo Switch player and enjoy all kinds of video games. Although there isn’t too much time to binge watch shows anymore, I do indulge in horror/suspense movies and stand-up comedy specials. I enjoy getting outside and am looking forward to visiting Yosemite and hopefully traveling in the near future.
